POSITION PURPOSE
In a support role for production, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all mechanical systems in order to maintain or improve equipment efficiencies to help meet or exceed company goals.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
Repair, install, adjust or maintain industrial production and processing machinery. Process equipment includes Quench & Temper, Upsetters, Hydrotesters, Threaders, Normalizer, Rechase, Straightener, and Coaters for pipe ranging from 2 3/8 to 7 5/8 OD for oil/gas exploration.
INCUMBENT ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and will not have any direct reports.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
•High School Diploma or GED
•5+ years of experience in preventive maintenance and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment.
•Able to speak, read, and write in English
•Strong troubleshooting skills
•Own set of hand tools
•Welding experience
•Able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, and weekends)
Desirable
•College classes or Mechanical Training/Apprenticeship
